What Does My Event Photography in DC Include?

The Space

Conveying the spatial layout and magnitude of an event is a must. Why forgo an opportunity to showcase your prestigious venue? Close-Up Candids

Capturing the emotional highlights of events through close-up candid photography is my specialty. Using a telephoto lens and employing a shallow depth of field, I focus on individuals, eliminating distractions and enabling viewers to immerse themselves in the moment. These images often resonate most with viewers. 

Details

Detail shots encompass a range of elements, including venue features, event signage, and culinary offerings. I understand the meticulous planning and effort invested by organizers. With a keen eye for detail, I capture images tailored to your specific needs and intended use. ensuring every aspect of your event is beautifully documented.

Group Portraits

As a roaming event photographer, whenever I spot a small group engaged in conversation, I ask, "Would you mind if I capture a shot of your group?" These portraits ensure I include VIPs in the images and enable me to photograph as many attendees as possible. Often, these are the photos guests love to share from events.


FAQ

WHEN AND HOW WILL I SEE THE IMAGES?
Within a couple days! Edited web-size and hi-res photos are delivered via Pic-Time, a platform that enables you to see your photos in a gallery, and download and share them.

WHY AREN'T YOUR PRICES LISTED ON YOUR WEBSITE?
My photography estimates are based on several factor, such as the size of the event; the number of locations; how many images are required; the extent of post-production work needed; the intended use of the photos; and travel time required.

ARE VIDEOGRAPHY SERVICES AVAILABLE?
I provide videography by means of subcontracting videographers. I've found that best results come with dedicated individuals specializing in each craft. This approach allows me to concentrate solely on photography. 

HOW DO YOU TAKE PAYMENT?
Payment by credit card or ACH bank transfer is preferred. I ask for half of the total cost up front as a non-refundable retainer. The remaining balance is due the day of the shoot. 

WHY DO PHOTOGRAPHERS' PRICES VARY SO MUCH? 
Photography is an art. You should choose someone whose work you admire and who is set on creating exceptional images. Many self-proclaimed "professional photographers" lack the experience and equipment to provide the quality you deserve.
